About this Inclusion & Diversity Working Lunch

When it comes to diversity and inclusion, organisations often place most of their focus on lenses such as gender, race, or disability. Diversity and inclusion extend far wider than this. Social mobility is one of the lenses often overlooked.

What is Social Mobility? It’s the ability for people to apply for, obtain and advance in roles that are above or below their social status. People should be given equal opportunities regardless of their socio-economic background and based solely on their ability to do the role. 

We know that many organisations are incorporating social mobility more in their diversity and inclusion strategy. This session will highlight best practices to promote social mobility in your organisation such as focusing on effective recruitment processes and nurturing and retaining talent from all backgrounds.

Join us for a panel discussion with Lloyds Banking Group on Thursday 17th June and find out more. Hear from experts on the research and businesses that have incorporated social mobility for years and those closer to the starting line.
