Happy New Year, and welcome to the January edition of 'Joining the dots in tech'. We have exciting new resources and events to share this month, including our regular Signatory forums, a new TTC events calendar, a Signatory spotlight and more...

Here are some of our latest updates: 

• We're getting closer to the launch of our annual Diversity in Tech report on 1 March. Our yearly report will detail new and up-to-date insights on what works well for our Signatories, data-driven benchmarking tools, and interventions making a difference. Watch this space for more information. 
• To directly deliver key insights from the report to our Signatories, we're working with our partners to host a series of regional Diversity in Tech roadshows, starting this March in Manchester and continuing in several other locations. At these events, we'll review the report highlights and collaboratively explore key themes. Places are limited and subject to registration. We'll share the sign-up link in next month's issue; follow us on LinkedIn to stay updated.
• DCMS invites digital businesses to share their views on how Digital Occupations should be defined. UK Government would like to have an up-to-date understanding of both the size of the digital workforce in the UK, and where interventions may need to be prioritised to boost the digital sector (e.g. skills training). You can share your opinion via this survey link.

• The TTC has developed an interactive diversity calendar that allows you to find TTC-hosted events and awareness days throughout the year. If you would like to share a national awareness or appreciation activity for the calendar, please get in touch with hello@techtalentcharter.co.uk.
