Welcome to the February edition of 'Joining the dots in tech'. This month's edition shares launch details of the Diversity in Tech report, our upcoming Signatory forum on how to improve data disclosure, upcoming Signatory events and more...
Here are the latest updates:
On March 1 we will launch our latest Diversity in Tech Report. This year, alongside diversity and inclusion insights and trends from across the UK’s digital economy, we'll also be launching an interactive D&I benchmarking tool that allows you to compare your D&Iefforts to TTC Signatories in your industry, region and with the same tech team size. The report also provides an in-depth analysis of progression by underrepresented talent in senior tech roles, as well as the initiatives and strategies that are really making a difference across gender, ethnicity, age, LGBTQI+, religion, disability, neurodiversity, and social mobility.
With the support of our Principal Partners, we're taking the Diversity in Tech Report on the road; we'll be hosting events in several locations, starting on March 29, in Manchester. We'll deliver impactful insights from the data and collaboratively explore key themes. It will also provide an excellent opportunity to network with peers. Places are limited and subject to registration; please click here to sign up andfollow us on LinkedIn to stay updated.
As you may have heard, the digital work that sat with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) will now be undertaken by the new Department for Science Innovation and Technology. It is positive to see STEM and technology are set to receive more focused investment. DSIT share more on their vision in this recent article.
Kind regards,
The TTC team
